Real-time graphs of electricity demand

Red Electrica has a series of graphs that show the demand for energy that is being produced in the peninsular electricity system in real time. These graphs are updated every ten minutes and include actual, forecast and scheduled demand data, as well as the maximum and minimum values ​​of daily demand.

Likewise, the equivalent CO2 emissions associated with the Spanish generation park are shown, which represent around 17% of the total greenhouse gas emissions in Spain.

Carbon Footprint Observatory

The scientific evidence on the influence of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions on the global increase in temperatures explains the importance of improving the information we have available on the main sources of these emissions, with a view to reducing them and, ultimately, instance, to mitigate this serious problem. In order to do that, the main objective of the observatory is to provide this information in sectors of daily activity and consumption.
