The Learning Results (RA, Resultados de Aprendizaje)
The RA defined and their scope are the following:
C1 GROUP: Competence in the critical contextualization of knowledge establishing interrelationships with local and/or global social, economic and environmental problems.
C1.Holistic.1.x. Knows about the principal causes, consequences, and solutions proposed to the sustainability problems (social, economic and/or environmental), local as well as global, especially in their professional area. For example: Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda, IPCC reports, etc.
C1.Holistic.2.x. Think critically about sustainability in their professional field.
C1.Holistic.3.1. Can relate a sustainability problem of a product or service of their professional field with the methods and strategies to confront it.
C2 GROUP: Competence in the sustainable use of resources and in the prevention of negative impacts on the natural and social environment.
C2.Environment.1.x. Knows about metrics (or tools) to measure the environmental impact of products and services related to your professional field (for example, environmental footprint, polluting emissions, resource/energy consumption, impact on biodiversity, waste generation, Directive 2014/95/ EU for non-financial reporting).
C2.Environment.1.y. Knows about strategies and/or technologies to reducing, reusing and recycling of the natural resources and waste related with the products and services of their professional field.
C2.Environment.2.x. Knows how to use metrics (and/or tools) in their projects, in order to measure the environmental impact of the products and services related to their professional field (for example, the environmental footprint, polluting emissions, consumption of resources/energy, damage to the biodiversity, generation of waste, 2014/95/EU directive for non-financial reports, etc.).
C2.Environment.3.x. Takes into account environmental criteria in projects related to its professional field and includes indicators to estimate/measure the environmental impact.
C2.Society.1.x. Knows about metrics (and/or tools) that measure and describe the social impact of the products and services related to their professional field (for example: Social Life-cycle Analysis, ISO 26000, 2014/95/EU Directive for non-financial reports, etc.)
C2.Society.1.y. Knows basic concepts about health, safety and social justice related to their professional field (for example ergonomics, accessibility, user experience, equity, diversity, common good, transparency, human rights, gender perspective, needs of the most vulnerable groups, discrimination , dignity, fight against corruption).
C2.Society.2.x. Knows how to use the appropriate metrics (or tools) to measure the social impact of products and services related to your professional field.
C2.Society.2.y. Understands the direct and indirect consequences that products and services related to their professional field have on safety, health and social justice.
C2.Society.3.x. Takes into account safety, health and social justice criteria in its projects and actions and includes indicators to measure social impact.
C2.Economic.1.x. Knows the basic concepts of resources management applicable to the project management of their professional field and methods (and/or tools) to estimate the project economic viability (for example fix and variable costs, amortizations, budgets, Gantt diagrams, externalities’ analysis, CANVAS analysis, DAFO analysis, business plans, strategic plans, cost-profits).
C2.Economic.2.x. Understands the economic viability plan of a project in his professional field and identifies the economic consequences it will have on society.
C2.Economic.3.x. Is capable of planning a project in its professional field, carrying out an economic viability plan and monitoring economic management throughout its useful life.
C2.Holistic.1.x. Knows the strategic role that their profession has in sustainability and the consequences, direct and indirect, of the use of products and services related with their professional field in the society, economy, and environment.
C2.Holistic.1.y. Knows different perspectives that promote a sustainable development (for example, circular economy, economy of the common good, social economy, ecological economy).
C2.Holistic.2.x. Knows how to analyze different alternatives of a product or service of his/her professional field in order to decide which one is more sustainable.
C2.Holistic.2.y. Knows how to apply the perspectives of sustainability in production, consumption (responsible consumption) and recycling.
C2.Holistic.3.x. Is capable of bringing new ideas and solutions to a project of their professional field to make it more sustainable, to propose sustainable projects, to monitor and make the appropriate project's dismantlement, and to select which indicators will be used to measure the sustainability.
C3 GROUP: Competence in participating in community processes that promote sustainability.
C3.Holistic.1.x. Knows the principal interest groups, as well as the social, economic and environmental agents related to the activity of their professional field.
C3.Holistic.1.y. Knows techniques and/or tools to promote, in processes and projects of his/her professional field, the collaboration, the cooperation, and the consideration of their necessities and expectations (information, inquiry, participation, integration, construction of scenarios, knowledge co-creation, etc).
C3.Holistic.2.x. Knows how to collaborate to them in order to identify their necessities and expectations, and to value the implications that they could have in the sustainability of the project.
C3.Holistic.3.x. Is able to use techniques and/or tools to promote the collaboration of the principal groups of interest and social agents, their cooperation, and the consideration of their necessities and expectations.
C4 GROUP: Competence in the application of ethical principles related to the values of sustainability in personal and professional behavior.
C4.Holistic.1.x. Knows the deontological code of his/her profession, the principal ethical problems, which are the laws and rules related with sustainability.
C4.Holistic.1.y. Knows the concepts of social commitment and corporate social responsibility and their possibilities and limitations.
C4.Holistic.2.x. Is able to identify and to evaluate critically the implications of the ethical and deontological principles related with the values of sustainability in their professional field, and to evaluate critically the responsible action of companies.
C4.Holistic.3.x. Is able to exercise his/her profession, and to participate actively in the responsible actions of the entities in which to develop the profession, taking into account the ethical principles related to the sustainability values (for example equality, justice, precaution principle, damage prevention, responsibility in front of present and future generations, protection, and restoration of a healthy environment, social, economic and environmental human rights).
