The ecological footprint of electronic products

Technique that intends to provoke reflection on the ecological (and social) deterioration that the consumerism of electronic products entails. To achieve it, it is shown the real need for what we buy and the frequency with which we renew these devices, or the importance of moderation in consumption (especially in the permanent renewal of new products ahead of time), reuse and recycling. In more general terms, this technique can also provoke reflection on the limitations of technology as the only solution to environmental problems.

The objetives are:

  • Be more aware of the ecological and social impact that the consumerism of electronic products is associated with.
  • Critically reflect on the limitations of new technologies as a solution to environmental problems.
